I make the math make sense

I've taught mathematics, statistics and computer science courses at several institutions and data analytics to veterans as part of an agricultural curriculum for entrepreneurs. The classroom keeps my product work honest: if I can't explain it simply, it isn't ready.

Where the two roles meet

Mentoring

Teaching doesn't stop at the classroom door. I coach product owners and business analysts as they sharpen their craft: how to ask better questions, write clearer requirements with security and usability at the forefront, and earn the trust of their teams. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was mentoring a junior product owner who, in less than a year, grew into a subject matter expert, release manager and fully capable product owner.
